Originally done with oil paint on linen by Jan Willem van Borselen this gentle piece has made good use of pastels and warm tones. The dunes in the foreground are so beautifully complemented by the amazing sky with billowing clouds, shadow and light. Framed in an ornate antiqued white moulding.
